Ok, so I decided to do the [healthy food] experiment the day that you suggested it so I am now 2 weeks in. Interim results: So far so good – the pressure in my ear subsided which hadn’t happened on antibiotics and prednisone (not perfect but better, and sinuses ok, too). I didn’t think I was eating a lot of inflammatory foods but when you take note of diet, it is surprising what creatures of habit we are, so a little ingested often adds up and doesn’t give your system time to clear, I suppose. So just thought I would report back and say thanks – somewhere in the deleted list an irritant lurks.
